Bonus Bunnies: What This Pokie Actually Plays Like

The reels sit against sun-warmed barns, hopping rabbits and scattered farm tools, with gates and fence-lines giving the whole scene a sense of a track to follow rather than a jungle to hack through. It's a lighter, brighter take on the outdoor-adventure feel that runs through this guide's picks — closer to a weekend paddock ramble than an expedition.

If you've already spent time with Great Rhino, the family resemblance is obvious: both lean on an outdoors setting and a similarly forgiving pace, just with a different animal cast and backdrop.

Medium volatility sits between the calmer, steadier titles in this guide and the high-volatility picks that can run hot or cold for long stretches. Practically, that means smaller wins land often enough to keep a session ticking over, without the extended flat runs that a low-volatility pick tends to produce. At 96.14% RTP, Bonus Bunnies also sits a shade above the median across the pokies covered in this guide — not a dramatic gap, but a small point in its favour if you're choosing between a handful of similar titles.

I find medium-volatility pokies like this one suit a set-budget-and-stick-to-it approach better than the extremes: decide what you're comfortable spending in a session before you start, and let the pace of the reels do the rest rather than chasing a bigger swing.

Bonus Bunnies carries a dedicated bonus round, triggered through the reels as you play, that breaks up the base game with a separate run of action. Alongside it sits a Bonus Buy option, which lets you pay directly to jump straight into that bonus round instead of waiting for it to land naturally.

Buying in spends through your balance a lot faster than regular spins do, so it's worth treating it as a separate line item in your session budget rather than an extension of it. If you're playing on bonus funds, it's also worth checking the terms on the Bonus page before you buy in — not every promotion's wagering rules are built the same way, and it pays to know where you stand first.

For a side-by-side look at all three, the Here2Win Casino slots gathered in this set make it easy to compare volatility and theme in one place. Great Rhino sits at the same medium volatility as Bonus Bunnies, but trades the farmyard for an African savanna, and adds an in-game jackpot on top of its own bonus rounds — a fair pick if you want the same pace with a different backdrop.

Dead or Alive is the outlier of the three: a high-volatility wild-west pick that swaps the gentler farmyard energy for outlaws and bounty hunters, with swings that run bigger in both directions. Good for a change of pace, less so if you want the steadier feel Bonus Bunnies offers.
